Western Railway, Mumbai invites application from ITI Candidates for engagement as Trade Apprentice under the Apprentice Act 1961, Electrical Department, EMU Workshop, Mahalaxmi, Western Railway, Mumbai - 400013. The closing date for receipt of applications is 23rd October 2017.

Educational Qualification: SSC with 50% Marks and ITI Trade in Electrician / Turner / Welder
Age Limit: The candidates should have completed 15 Years of age and should not have completed 24 Years of Age as on Notification (i.e. 26/09/2017). The Upper Age relaxation – 05 Years of SC / ST, 03 Years for OBC
Application Fee: A Postal Order / Demand Draft (DD) of ₹ 100/- (A Non-refundable) payable to CHIEF CASHIER, CHURCHGATE, WESTERN RAILWAY. There is no fee for SC / ST / PH / Women Candidates.
Selection Process: Selection of the eligible candidates for imparting training under the Apprentice Act 1961 will be based on the merit list which would be prepared to take the average of percentage marks obtained the candidates in the both matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) and ITT Examination giving equal weight to both. There will be no Written Test or Viva.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates apply in the prescribed application format. The duly filled applications along with self-attested photocopies of the certificates addressed to "Chief Workshop Manager's Office, EMU Workshop, Mahalaxmi, Mumbai - 400013" on or before 23/10/2017 up to 16:00 Hours.
