When the summer vacation is due to complete, a new academic session will start in schools and colleges, as long as the fingerprint is counted. Keeping in mind the academic calendar of 2019-20 has been declared by the Gujarat Education Board. As well as the important decision to cancel the Navaratri vacation started from last year has been taken. This decision has been taken in the meeting of the Cabinet, Education Minister Bhupendran Singh Chudasama said in a conversation with the media. Thus, in schools, the 21-day Diwali vacation will be given only according to the RET.
Minister of Education Bhupendrasinh Chudasamam said that two important decisions have been made in the Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Thursday. The first decision in which the summer development is not to be extended.
On the other hand, the academic year has declared the academic calendar year 2019-20. The first session will have 104 days of academic work while the second session will have 142 days of academic work. The first session will have an 8-day holiday which has been canceled after the Cabinet decision. In the current academic year, 21 days of Diwali vacation will be given. There will be 80 holidays and 246 days of study days throughout the academic session. Apart from this, the standard 10-12 board examinations will start from March 5, 2020.
