Jammu and Kashmir has special status under Article 370, many laws passed by Parliament were not implemented in this state.
The central government could not interfere in the rest of the state’s affairs except for important subjects like defense, foreign affairs and communication.
After the Article 370’s removal, the State Reorganization Bill will be introduced, Jammu and Kashmir will now be the Union Territory with the Union Territory like Delhi.
Ladakh will also be made a union territory, but there will be no assembly there
Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday offered a historic change for Jammu and Kashmir. He recommended the removal of Article 370 and 35 (A) Jammu And Kashmir from here. According to this, Jammu and Kashmir was given the status of Union Territory. Ladakh will also become a separate union territory. The Jammu and Kashmir reorganization bill will be presented in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday.

Scrapping Article 370 ‘unconstitutional’, ‘deceitful’ says AG Noorani
Calling it “utterly and palpably unconstitutional”, constitutional expert A G Noorani, who has also authored books about Kashmir, including Article 370: A Constitutional History of Jammu and Kashmir, told Huffington Post India, “An unconstitutional deed has been accomplished by deceitful means. For a fortnight, the Governor and other people told a whole load of lies. And I am sorry that the Army Core Commander (Chief) was also enlisted to spread this false thing of inputs from Pakistan. It was all a falsehood. They have undermined the Army’s non-political character. This is patently unconstitutional. Now, this can go to the Supreme Court and no one knows how the Supreme Court will decide.
Home Minister’s statement-
The Home Minister said, ‘This is not the first time, Congress also revised Article 370 in the same way in 1952 and 1962, so please let me speak and discuss instead of protest, I will remove all your doubts and all kinds of questions I will answer you. He said, “This bill is historic on Article 370. Because of this, Jammu and Kashmir was not connected with India. Whether the opposition can pass Article 370 with a simple majority. ” He further said, “Under Article 370, three families have looted Jammu and Kashmir for years. It should not be delayed even by a second to remove it. We do not have to create a vote bank. The BJP lacks political will, but people of the opposition should discuss it unnecessarily. ‘
