NMMS Scholarship 2020 - National Means cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) is offered by MHRD, Government of India. There are almost. 1 lakh NMMS scholarships are given to students every year. Students must appear in the written entrance exam of the NMMS 2020 Scholarship to be eligible. The NMMS 2020 exam will be held on December 12, 13 and 20. The NMMS 2020 Scholarship Examination is conducted by the State Relevant Education Research Training (SCERT) for their respective State.

NMMS Scholarship 2020 - Plan Details

The details of the NMMS 2020 Scholarship Scheme provided by the officers are given below.


  • Approx. Students with a parental income of Rs 1.5 lakh are given 1 lakh scholarships every year. a. Or less than all sources.
  • According to the state quota, NMMS 2020 may vary according to the category of scholarship, candidates or class of candidates.
  • Scholarship quotas are determined by each state, with state quota NMSS scholarship affiliation given according to the class of candidates.
  • The maximum amount of NMMS 2020 scholarship will be a maximum of INR 12000 p. a. No student will be given a scholarship of more than Rs.1000 per month.
  • This scholarship will be given annually to 9th class students studying in a government aided or full government or local institution school. Scholarships can be awarded for a maximum period of 9th to 12th class.
  • To get the NMMS 2020 Scholarship, students have to qualify for an exam conducted by the State Government or UT.


NMMS Scholarship 2020 - Eligibility Criteria (Senior and Higher Secondary Phase)

Only eligible candidates for a senior and higher secondary levels will be able to claim the NMMS 2020 scholarship. Eligibility Criteria for NMMS 2020 Scholarship for Senior and Higher Secondary Levels are as under:

This scholarship is payable for a maximum period of 4 years from 9th standard to 9th standard.
NMMS 2020 Scholarship is applicable only for candidates studying within India.

Candidates claiming the NMMS 2020 Scholarship must have a clear promotion record of Class VIII and IX.
NMMS scholarships are not offered for diploma and certificate courses at this stage.




Candidates can apply for NMMS. Fifty-five percent marks should be obtained from 9th standard to 9th standard to continue the scholarship 2020. There will be 5% discount for SC / ST class candidates.


If the N.M.M.S. If no examination is taken for Scholarship 2020, after the ninth and twelfth standard chapters, a certificate of confirmation will be issued by the head of the school, otherwise the scholarship will be closed.

To continue the NMMS Scholarship at the next stage, the candidate should have obtained at least sixty percent marks in the tenth standard. For SC / ST category candidates there will be a discount in percent percent marks.





 


NMMS Scholarship 2020 - Terms and Conditions

Students must satisfy the following terms and conditions to claim the NMMS 2020 Scholarship.


  • The course must be valid as per the eligibility of NMMS.
  • The candidate has to give a certificate of good conduct by the head of the college or institution in his / her regular studies.
  • The candidate should not have any type of employment.
  • The student must continue the full-time course.
  • The candidate should not be absent without proper leave.
  • Scholarships will not be awarded for study abroad.
  • Scholarships will not be awarded if the student closes the course within one month of enrollment.


If the scholarship is claimed 12 months after the commencement of the course, no claim will be provided for such defaulters.
If the candidate is unable to appear for the final examination, a medical certificate must be submitted to the head of the institution within three months of the illness.


Medical certification must be provided by a registered medical practitioner. If the overall performance of the candidate during the year is fifty percent or more, the same course will be allowed to continue.
